
Senior Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in our Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing competent nursing care in complex situations while supporting colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilise your expertise in acute mental health inpatient service nursing to deliver exceptional patient care and support other team members in delivering best practice.
- Provide patient-centred care that meets the highest standards of a Registered Nurse, adhering to current evidence-based guidelines and regulations.
- Educate, inform, counsel, and support patients and families on relevant aspects of their care, accessing specialist advice when needed.
- Maintain strong relationships and open communication with the multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop comprehensive care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Offer clinical education and support to enhance patient outcomes.
- Possess or work towards obtaining Authorised Mental Health Practitioner status under the Mental Health Act 2016.
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in health directives.
- Proof of qualification, registration, or membership with national healthcare regulation agencies.
