Expert Mental Health Nursing Specialist

West Moreton Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our multidisciplinary community mental health team. The successful applicant will provide specialist clinical services and leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic directions to enhance professional and clinical knowledge for all clinicians.
The ideal candidate will have expert level clinical knowledge, expertise, and skills in contemporary mental health nursing, as well as high level interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively and collaboratively within teams, with consumers and their families, and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be accountable for an advanced level of practice, supporting the delivery of services by ensuring the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice, participating in the provision of skilled nursing care, and supporting the multidisciplinary team to meet performance, safety, and clinical governance standards.
Mandatory Requirements:- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia.
