Job Title: Fuel Process Specialist

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing back-office data processes and setups to ensure seamless data exchange and maintain the integrity of fuel pricing and contracts.

This role involves coordinating with various teams to resolve issues related to data transfer errors, missing pricing requests, and contract management. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all available spot options are displayed correctly in Fuel Shepherd and auditing monthly reports to identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in PC software, especially SAP and Windows-based Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also essential.

  • Coordinate data transfer processes between Fuel suppliers, Fuel Supply, and Fuel Accounting.
  • Investigate root causes of missing pricing requests and provide solutions.
  • Ensure accurate display of available spot options in Fuel Shepherd.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce reversals for pricing errors.
  • Collaborate with the Fuel Admin team to adopt streamlined approaches to managing new and expiring contract pricing formulas.
  • Lead the development of SOPs and training documents for Fuel Admin team members.
  • Provide technical support for systems enhancements related to ServiceNow, Fuel Shepherd, Cognos, BW, and SAP.
  • Assist with Freight tasks including initial setup, increases, Fuel Surcharge updates, carrier disputes, and entering missing rates as needed.
  • Support data analysis and reporting to meet various business needs.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant business experience.
  • Proficiency with PC software, especially SAP and Windows-based Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong people skills required to positively impact cross-functional teams.
