This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a prestigious project in the Territory. As a Project Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful project delivery through effective contract management.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Preparation and Negotiation: Interpret design documentation and specifications to develop clear scopes of work and procurement packages.
- Contract Administration: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including terms, conditions, and financial obligations.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and approval of subcontractor and supplier invoices.
- Contract Compliance: Monitor contractual compliance, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies during project delivery.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and resolve contractual or commercial disputes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate contract records and deliver timely reports on status, progress, and financial performance.
- 5-10+ years' experience in contract administration (upstream and downstream) on projects valued at $10-20M.
- Proven track record delivering projects from start to handover.
- Strong expertise in drafting and managing complex contracts, subcontractor agreements, and contract notices.
- Defence industry experience (highly desirable) and cross-cultural awareness for sensitive international contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of contract lifecycle management, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g. Procore) and Microsoft Office, with a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
