Business Line Manager - Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will protect and continue to grow market share and profitability by means of:

  • Developing and implementing appropriate product and market strategies.
  • Ensuring total market coverage through direct sales and independent distribution.
  • Providing best-in-class product support, irrespective of distribution channel, customer segment, or location.
  • Demonstrating clear and visible leadership internally and with customers.
  • Working collaboratively as a team player.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing market and sales strategies in line with divisional goals and guidelines.
  • This position has full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility for the business line.
  • Conducting and maintaining updated territory management plans to optimize market coverage, sales actions, and product support.
  • Coaching and supporting our organization that work with OBK products.
  • Guiding and supporting our service organization to develop the aftermarket business for capital equipment.
  • Monitoring and managing asset investments related to the OBK business.
  • Delivering dominant market share in each segment:
    • Capital equipment (surface coring, underground coring, reverse circulation)
    • Drilling consumables (diamond products, in-hole tools, drill rods, RC Tools, etc.)
    • Spare parts and other aftermarket business
    • Geoscience, Core scanning and other related products
  • Delivering agreed upon annual targets for:
    • Orders received
    • Orders invoiced
    • Functional costs
    • AR (Receivables)
    • Market contribution/efficiency
