Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate chef to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to young children on a daily basis.

About this Role:

  • Plan and prepare weekly menus that cater to the dietary requirements and preferences of young children.
  • Understand 'Munch and Move' philosophy.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared in accordance with relevant health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
  • Manage food supplies and inventory, ordering items as needed to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for young children.
  • Conduct menu planning and preparation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare setting or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for young children.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Possession of excellent organizational and time-management skills.
