Childcare Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled chef to design and prepare nutritious meals for up to 120 children daily. This involves catering to various dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences.

The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation. They will also collaborate with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 120 children daily.
  • Cater to a variety of dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
  • Collaborate with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience as a Chef/Cook, ideally in childcare, school, or similar environment.
  • Certificate in Food Handling/Safety (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition for children.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to children's wellbeing.
