Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Coverage Banking Professional to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a key member of our Institutional Banking & Markets team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing expert advice on banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to a portfolio of clients, including large ASX listed companies and private equity firms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Work closely with senior bankers and product teams to deliver complex transactions and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and present pitch packs, information materials, and financial models to support client pitches and transactions.
  • Conduct annual credit reviews and provide analytical and credit-related support for credit applications.
  • Collaborate with product partners, credit risk, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of banking solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, or economics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate or institutional banking, preferably in a client coverage role.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with risk management and credit risk issues.
  • Understanding of the operational drivers of a business and how they relate to financial drivers.
