Job Description

The Quality and Service Improvement Lead is responsible for developing, promoting and influencing the quality and safety of our services.

The role focuses on developing mechanisms to support the delivery of safe and high-quality services, including Out of Home Care and Sustaining Families services.

  • Oversight of quality and safeguarding to meet legislative and organisational standards.
  • Management of registration, audits and promotion of culturally safe practices.
  • Development and review of local procedures and improvement plans.
  • Leadership of audits and tracking of actions.
  • Coordination of responses to incidents and complaints.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and training on care standards and policy to staff.
  • Support local and national practice improvements.
About You
  • A recognised Social Work, Quality or Business Management qualification.
  • Minimum two years' experience in child safety, out of home care or family services with at least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy review within a quality framework and developing and maintaining quality and practice procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality management, compliance and accreditation coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and current thinking regarding child safety and child safeguarding.
