As an Equipment Health Specialist at BHP, you can expect a salary in the range of $140,000 to $200,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

Job Description

">

As an Equipment Health Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering the execution and continuous improvement of the Condition Monitoring program using a variety of predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.

">

You will work closely with our operations teams to identify and address equipment health issues, develop and implement condition-based maintenance strategies, and provide training and support to our maintenance personnel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing condition monitoring programs to improve equipment reliability and availability">
  • Conducting vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing to identify equipment health issues">
  • Developing and implementing condition-based maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures">
  • Providing training and support to maintenance personnel on condition monitoring techniques and equipment operation">
  • Collaborating with operations teams to identify and address equipment health issues">
  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to condition monitoring programs and equipment operation">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification or engineering degree">
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in condition monitoring or a related field">
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills">
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders">
  • Experience working in a mining or heavy industry environment">
