\Career Opportunities:
\- This role will focus on improving fleet asset health to enhance the delivery of fleet performance according to our maintenance strategy, operating principles, and Work Management process.
In this position, you will engage with Maintenance Execution/Reliability Engineering Superintendents and direct reports to drive continual improvement in mobile maintenance practices.
\This role will be based at Newman Operations on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with fly-in-fly-out from Perth to Newman.
\Key Responsibilities:
\- Drive business improvement through performance metrics measurement.
- Collaborate with Mine Control to ensure data integrity within Minestar and Modular.
- Maintain effective relationships with planning teams and assist with forward logging based on condition data for mobile equipment.
- Conduct post-execution quality inspections to eliminate defects and facilitate reliable and efficient maintenance operations.
- Determine problem causes and evaluate solutions to ensure a structured approach to complex problems.
- Improve inspection quality and accountability (Safety/Production).
- Reduce supervisor workload around forward planning (Safety).
- Remove unnecessary Work Orders from the forward log (Production).
- Eliminate duplicate Work Orders (Cost/Production).
About You:
\To succeed in this role, you will require trade qualification with post-trade experience in mobile equipment maintenance.
\You should be a self-motivated professional able to collaborate with others to achieve reliability goals and targets.
\Required Skills and Qualifications:
\- Technical knowledge of mobile equipment.
- Demonstrated expertise in condition-based mobile maintenance practices and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in SAP, Web SIS, Cat Minestar, VIMS 3G.
- A sound understanding of oil analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze condition monitoring information and provide accurate recommendations.
- The ability to multitask and monitor data trends across an equipment class.
- Effective communication of technical points and logic to diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet fixed deadlines.
- Excellent engagement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Developed proficiency in Spotfire and BOBJ (Desirable).
- Demonstrated experience integrating data from multiple source systems when building reports and dashboards (Desirable).
