Job Title

A clinical leader position is available for an experienced professional to lead and manage the delivery of high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have experienced sexual assault and/or family violence.

This role will require strong leadership, management, and communication skills to support a team of counsellors and therapists in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions. The successful candidate will have experience working with victim survivors of sexual assault and family violence, particularly children and young people, and be able to provide supervision and guidance to staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of trauma-focused therapeutic interventions for children and young people
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to staff members
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A formal qualification in social work or psychology
  • Experience working with victim survivors of sexual assault and family violence, particularly children and young people
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including consumers and staff
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
