Support Worker Job Description

At Suncare, we are committed to providing innovative and personalized in-home care services that support individuals to live their lives to the fullest. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact in our customers' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personal care and household domestic assistance to aged people living at home, including cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting, meal preparation, and accompanying them on shopping trips and appointments.
  • Provide general companionship and help build social networks for our customers.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, using your own vehicle for work purposes and ensuring it is appropriately insured.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Background and qualification in community services or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
  • Physical fitness is required for this role, as well as a valid Driver's Licence.
  • CPR and First Aid certificates are also necessary.

Other Information:

This permanent part-time contract is available for 60 hours per fortnight, with a typical roster performed Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm. However, there may be opportunities to gain additional hours depending on your availability and our operational requirements.
