Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Operations Director to lead our clinical trials team. As a key member of our leadership committee, you will work closely with the CEO to define strategic priorities and oversee operational delivery across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have executive-level leadership experience in clinical trials, research, or healthcare settings. They will be able to lead cross-functional teams and deliver operational success, with strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop high-performing operational teams across clinical, data, and marketing functions
  • Oversee trial scheduling, resource planning, and execution to meet quality, budget, and sponsor expectations
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement across the organisation
  • Ensure strong sponsor and vendor relationships and resolve complex operational challenges
  • Drive strategic planning, performance reporting, and alignment with organisational goals
Requirements
  • Executive-level leadership in clinical trials, research, or healthcare settings
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver operational success
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in health/science; business management highly desirable
