About the Opportunity

Barminco is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team across remote Australian operations. This role offers a permanent full-time position with exposure to state-of-the-art underground fleet equipment and the latest electrical technology.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Maintain and repair heavy-duty machinery, including earthmoving equipment, agricultural vehicles, and road transport vehicles.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, adhering to OEM guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with industry developments and expand knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working at heights, operating manual vehicles, and obtaining National Police Clearance.
  • Aircon ticket – desirable.
