Media.Monks is seeking an experienced Digital Analytics Strategist to lead enterprise-level client-facing analytics initiatives. This role involves developing data strategies, implementing complex measurement projects, and driving value with expert knowledge and client relationship skills.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with multiple enterprise clients, building out their analytics framework, overseeing tagging, and ad-hoc reporting needs. The ideal candidate has a history of working with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and the Google Marketing Platform to help various businesses implement data collection and utilize data to drive value through reporting and analysis.
This role offers a huge opportunity for growth within our AUNZ team and APAC data team, participation in innovation on projects, and the potential to advance the practice of analytics and data from the forefront.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing subject matter expertise in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to clients via scheduled reports, ad-hoc reports, and analysis initiatives.
- Developing analytics and data strategies for top brands with a focus on measurably lifting their business.
- Sharing data and marketing analytics expertise with clients and the Media.Monks team, acting as a thought leader, and participating in knowledge growth.
- Managing relationships and projects for enterprise clients.
- Assisting clients in understanding online measurement importance and providing best practice guidelines for data strategy and technical implementations.
- Assisting the data team in propelling our practice forward with new go-to-market initiatives and solutions.
What we are looking for:
- Candidates with 2-3 years of client-facing experience with Google Analytics, ideally in a digital marketing consulting firm, agency, or advertiser.
- Intellectual curiosity, autonomy, and proactivity are key qualities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Deep knowledge and experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other Google Marketing Platform tools.
- Understanding of the data, adtech, and martech industry.
- Experience managing strategic projects and/or clients.
- Self-directed, resourceful, and critical thinking with attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Experience implementing and utilizing data from various digital analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Optimize 360, etc.
- Experience with BI/Data analysis tools, like Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud data (GCP / BigQuery, AWS, etc) and leveraging it is a plus.
