Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ADF Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Big Umbrella. As a key member of our Workplace Rehabilitation Services team, you will work closely with Defence members who have sustained injuries, providing support and guidance to facilitate a safe and timely return to deployable status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage your caseload, engaging clients and liaising with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Perform discipline-specific assessments and attend case conferences to ensure comprehensive understanding of clients' needs.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of RAAF, its structure, procedures, and terminology to facilitate optimum outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team environment, contributing to exceptional client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Osteopath, Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Rehabilitation Counsellor with relevant professional body membership.
  • 1+ year Workplace Rehabilitation experience or clinical background, with a strong interest in applying skills in a specialist ADF Consultant role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, with a bright and motivated approach.
  • Australian citizenship and willingness to complete security checks.
  • Driver's licence and car.
