About the Role
As a Clinical Care Specialist at Tindal Health Centre, you will provide outpatient assessment and health promotion services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assess care levels required for patients and set priorities accordingly, initiate treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, and be available to take last-minute shifts to ensure flexible and responsive healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and services in accordance with Serco's standards and guidelines.
- Assess patient care levels and set priorities to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Initiate treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and services.
About the Location
Tindal Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Tindal, providing general medical, dental, physiotherapy, and pharmaceutical services to Defence Force staff. The facility operates a 10-bed inpatient day ward and has a routine dependency of approximately 550 Defence members.
