Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team, supporting participants with daily living activities, mobility, and communication requirements.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining compliance paperwork and records;
- Updating appointments in the communication book;
- Preparing daily reports for clients;
- Managing vehicle log books;
- Scanning and saving paperwork in the system;
- Undertaking additional tasks as requested by the office;
- Regularly updating participant care plans;
- Maintaining company property and vehicles;
- Managing grocery needs for participants;
- Assisting with mobility and communication requirements;
- Participating in individual care planning;
- Observing and reporting changes in participants' conditions;
- Assisting with rehabilitation exercises and basic treatments;
- Community access with participants;
- Documenting participant progress and changes;
- Administering medication where needed;
- Meal preparation for participants when required;
- Providing emotional support and friendship.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience;
- Working rights for this role;
- Flexible hours available.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience. As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
