Software Engineering Position

The School of Computer Science and Engineering is seeking a skilled software engineer to support a high-impact project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software solutions using deep learning, natural language processing, and large language models.
  • Communicate practical results and provide analytical and reporting support to stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to key project deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and take initiative to work independently while managing competing demands.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computing or relevant field.
  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Good fundamentals in Transformer-based natural language processing.
  • Experience with deep learning methods and sequence-to-sequence models.
  • Proficiency in Python, including deep learning libraries such as Transformers and PyTorch.
  • Experience with AWS Services for software deployment and GitHub/GitLab for version control.
  • Stakeholder management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
