About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our team at Wurli Wurlijang Health Service in Katherine. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and high-quality clinical services, patient care, health promotion, and education to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical services, including health screening, treatment, and patient care
  • Contribute to patient care plans and provide health education
  • Administer immunisations, eye health care, ear health care, diabetes health care, oral health care, and sexual health services
  • Use the Communicare patient information system to identify care needs and document patient consultations
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary package, including salary sacrifice arrangements
  • A 37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday
  • Relocation assistance and short-term accommodation assistance for eligible applicants
  • Six weeks annual leave, plus leave loading, and one week paid special leave per annum
  • 15 days personal leave per annum
Requirements
  • Fully registered as an ATSI Primary Health Practitioner with AHPRA
  • Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
  • Current National Police Certificate and Northern Territory Driver's Licence
  • Current Working with Children's Clearance (Ochre Card)
