Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Graduate Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. As a Graduate Security Analyst, you will play a key role in tracking and analyzing security alerts from various systems to identify potential threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Detection: Monitor and analyze security alerts from diverse systems to pinpoint potential threats.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate and recommend fixes for identified threats, coordinating responses with internal and external teams.
  • Reporting and Quality Assurance: Produce clear reports and conduct quality checks on playbooks and documentation.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Foster strong working relationships with peers and clients to ensure seamless teamwork and support.
  • Process Improvement: Help enhance tools and processes while staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends.
Requirements
  • You should be a final-year student or recent graduate in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (graduating by early 2026).
  • You have proven leadership skills through work, internships, or extracurriculars, and are skilled in communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • You possess strong presentation and client-facing skills, committed to delivering quality service outcomes.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset with experience evaluating security incidents and crafting thoughtful responses.
  • You are a self-driven learner excited by cybersecurity, proficient in MS Office and digital tools.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance are required.
