We're seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated individual to support our practice manager and accounting team with various office tasks.
This is a Part-Time position, with the option to discuss Full-Time if that suits your needs. Ideally, you'll work 25+ hours per week, but we're flexible and happy to accommodate your schedule.
Experience in an accounting public practice is a bonus, but not essential. If you're eager to learn, we're ready to provide on-the-job training for the right person.
Key Responsibilities- Tackle a variety of office tasks while supporting our superstar accountants.
- Be the friendly voice on the phone and the welcoming face for our clients.
- Sort and manage mail, including scanning and sending out correspondence.
- Assign tasks to accountants to keep workflows seamless.
- Liaise with the ATO and download essential reports.
- Handle ASIC communications and manage client correspondence.
- Assist with inquiries and jump in to help wherever needed.
- Strong Excel and Word skills to keep things running smoothly.
- Experience with the Handisoft suite is a big plus.
- Top-notch communication skills—both verbal and written.
- A can-do attitude and stellar organizational abilities.
- Sharp attention to detail and accurate data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
