Boating Education Specialist

Our team is seeking a dedicated and passionate Boating Education Specialist to join our ranks. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in engaging with the boating community, educating them on safe boating practices, and fostering a culture of waterway safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Transport for NSW at boat ramps, schools, clubs, community events, and boat shows, providing educational materials and information sessions to promote safe boating practices.
  • Identify opportunities to educate the boating community and develop and implement Boating Safety Education plans to address emerging issues and concerns.
  • Facilitate presentations and information sessions to boating audiences, highlighting the importance of responsible boating practices.

Requirements:

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Senior First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain within three months
  • Current NSW Boating Licence or ability to obtain within three months
  • Valid, professional Working with Children Check
