Energy Lawyer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced energy lawyer to join our team.

The role involves providing expert legal advice on the full project lifecycle from bid and procurement, through financing and delivery, to long-term operations. This includes advising on project financing risk allocation and regulatory compliance within the energy sector.

You will partner closely with commercial, technical, and project delivery teams to structure deals, manage risk, and ensure compliance across complex high-value initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting reviewing and negotiating project agreements including EPC O&M connection and long-term supply contracts.
  • Supporting development and delivery of large-scale renewable generation and battery storage projects from inception through to completion.
  • Managing legal aspects of claims and disputes with a focus on proactive resolution and commercial outcomes.
  • Providing strategic input into major commercial decisions and contract strategies.
Qualifications
  • You will have minimum 2+ years PQE gained at a highly regarded law firm or in-house within the energy infrastructure or resources sectors Strong front-end project experience is essential with a track record of advising on complex high-value transactions.
  • Expertise in drafting reviewing and negotiating large-scale infrastructure or energy project contracts.
  • Experience with renewable energy battery storage or other major energy infrastructure projects ideally under EPC O&M or PPP delivery models.
  • Strong commercial acumen problem-solving skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced growth-focused environment.
