Compensation Package

As a Care Specialist, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of $25-$30 per hour, plus superannuation and penalty rates. You will also receive a 25% loading on all casual positions, ensuring you are fairly compensated for your work.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Care Specialist to join our team in Newcastle. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering personalized support in a group home setting, assisting clients with daily tasks, administering medication, and promoting their independence. You will also support clients to engage in their community and build positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in a group home setting
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Administer medication and perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively
  • Support clients to develop skills and increase their independence
  • Transport clients using CPA's minivan, if required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) and live locally to Newcastle. You must also be triple COVID-19 vaccinated.
