We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including gastrointestinal surgery, general medical, ICU, cardiac, and orthopaedics. You will be responsible for providing current nutrition and dietetic practice, working autonomously with limited supervision, and prioritizing your workload effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian Status.
- Experience in the acute hospital system, with specific knowledge of TPN, PEG, and Enteral feeds.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide current nutrition and dietetic practice to consumers, carers, and families requiring assessment, case management, intervention, appropriate referral, and discharge planning.
- Work autonomously with limited supervision, prioritizing your workload effectively and applying high-level reasoning skills and independent professional judgment.
- Lead and direct the flexible utilisation of resources to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
