We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our Emergency and Critical Care team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients and contributing to the success of our veterinary hospital.
The role requires strong nursing skills, including ICU and hospital nursing, support roles, triage, and patient stabilization. You will work closely with a team of veterinarians and specialists, collaborating on patient care and participating in daily rounds. A rotating roster is required, with opportunities for additional training and guidance as you learn the ropes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, working closely with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal results.
- Participate in daily hospital rounds, providing updates on patient progress and contributing to decision-making discussions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, working effectively as part of a close-knit team.
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse with a minimum Certificate IV or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' experience in the veterinary industry as a nurse.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Able to work autonomously, making informed decisions and taking initiative when necessary.
- Positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to work varied shifts and contribute to a dynamic workload.
