Emergency Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced emergency veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support specialist veterinarians in critical situations.

Our state-of-the-art facilities feature cutting-edge technology including CT, MRI, digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscope, in-house laboratory, ventilators, patient monitors, and sophisticated emergency and surgical facilities. Our team utilizes fully integrated software and operates with electronic hospital charting.

Nurses also have access to regular free in-house continuing education sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge. This provides an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise and contribute to the advancement of veterinary nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Triage and admit emergency patients
  • Provide direct care for critically ill patients
  • Perform diagnostics, treatments, and anaesthesia
  • Monitor and record patient care accurately
  • Liaise with staff and clients effectively

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Interest in ECC and a proactive, positive attitude towards lifelong learning
