We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Associate to join our team at Montgomery Advisory. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development, construction, and operation of our battery storage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate key project agreements, including battery supply contracts, balance of plant/EPC contracts, connection agreements, and land documents.
- Lead on engaging and coordinating with external advisors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide legal support on financing and internal approvals for all projects.
- Structure and manage FIRB issues, as well as commercial and legal aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including equity investors and financiers, to drive project success.
- Support the expansion of our business into overseas jurisdictions, addressing associated regulatory and legal issues.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with 5-7 years of experience in renewable projects, with a strong transactional and commercial contracting background. Your exceptional drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams will be essential in this role. A genuine interest in the energy transition and a keenness to join a growing team will also be valuable assets.
