Job Title:

Disability Support Worker

Job Description:

This role involves supporting individuals with physical disabilities, including manual handling. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will need to demonstrate good judgement and common sense.

You will be required to work varied shifts, including sleepovers, day support, community access, in-home evening support, and home duties. You must have a full driver's license and be willing to drive clients' vehicles.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good listening skills and willingness to learn
  • Experience supporting people with physical disabilities, including manual handling
  • Ability to work with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals
  • Commitment to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly)
