We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Contaminated Land Consultant, Scientist, or Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse and challenging projects within a consulting framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee field programs, ensuring thorough pre-mobilization and safety planning.
  • Create Sampling and Analysis Quality Plans.
  • Lead fieldwork initiatives, including soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling, as well as supervising drilling and groundwater well installations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Deliver high-quality analysis and reporting in accordance with ASC NEPM standards.
  • Develop comprehensive reports that meet exceptional technical and editorial standards while collaborating with the team to fulfill client expectations.
  • Provide proposal and project management support to the contaminated land team.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in environmental engineering or related scientific disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team, and clients.
  • Knowledge of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and National Environment Protection Measures, along with current Queensland legislation and guidelines for contaminated land.
  • A desire to provide exceptional client service.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Australian citizenship or the ability to obtain it.
  • Australian Defence baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain it.
  • A valid driver's license.
