About PKF

As a Senior Tax Consultant with PKF Australia, you will be primarily responsible for attending to the tax consulting and compliance needs of our client base ranging from SME businesses to multinational groups.

You will assist with transaction support engagements, working on M&A transactions and restructures, and all other aspects of tax consulting engagements. You will also have the opportunity to step up to a supervisory role in an engagement and team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Business, Commerce or Law Degree or Masters of Tax, CA Qualified/Australian Tax Institute accreditation, and at least 3 years of taxation consulting experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as exceptional work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively collaborate with clients to meet their tax compliance and transactional needs.
  • Have a strong tax compliance background and be able to review technical work of others.
  • Manage working on tax compliance engagements and transactional tax projects concurrently.
  • Have a working knowledge of international tax matters.
  • Develop junior staff members within the team.
  • Draft complex letters of advice, reports, and other client documents, and undertake analysis and support conclusions.
  • Assist in a range of diverse engagements ranging from compliance for enterprises to assisting with multinational advisory with the expectation to broaden your skill set.
