The Opportunity
- Lead a high-performing team of professionals, developing their capabilities to consistently deliver excellent Health & Safety outcomes.
- Provide guidance and coaching to executives and senior leaders to ensure they meet WHS due diligence obligations.
- Oversight of the contractor partnering framework includes governance, prequalification, selection, assurance, and exit processes.
- Embed and maintain APA's Health & Safety strategy and management systems, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively, including oversight of investigations, reporting, audits, and lessons learned.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications or significant relevant experience in health, safety, or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of Health & Safety professionals in mid-to-large organisations.
- Strong expertise in developing and embedding strategies, systems, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in contractor management and partnering with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives and driving cultural change in safety.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence executives and senior leaders.
