Technical Support Role Overview:

The role of an IT Support Engineer involves delivering high-quality technical support to stakeholders within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring service requests are completed within predetermined timeframes and priorities, thereby guaranteeing quality service outcomes.
  • Supporting the implementation of personal computing environments and Unified Communications Services.
  • Documenting the resolution of reported incidents, service requests, and project tasks accurately within Service Management Software (ServiceNow).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in O365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience with Service Now or ITIL ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of MECM / SCCM.
  • Network troubleshooting expertise.
  • Audio Visual troubleshooting capabilities.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • High level computer literacy and experience with Microsoft and Apple Operating Systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (O365), Desktop Management Software (MECM/SCCM), Web Browser technology, and database applications proficiency.
