
Audit Professional

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated individual who is a real team player and committed to working collaboratively to achieve exceptional results.
The ideal candidate will have strong client relationship skills, be able to develop and maintain effective audit strategies, and assist in completing documents required for planning an audit engagement.
Key duties include:
- Developing strong client relationships
- Assisting in developing an effective and efficient audit strategy
- Completing documents required for planning an audit engagement
- Working closely with the engagement manager on the engagement identifying potential problem areas or difficulties
- Coordinating engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to Partner where appropriate
- Identifying potential improvements and communicating these to Managers
- Preparing and monitoring budgets for various engagements
- Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues and building internal relationships
- Liaising with clients and identifying future opportunities
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification, or working towards it
- Ability to think critically, challenge assumptions, and solve problems
- A self-starter with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
- Strong IT and computer skills, embracing new technology and adapting quickly
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to effectively manage your workflow
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
