Community Support Worker - Dubbo

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team in Dubbo. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing psycho-social support services to individuals with mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support services to clients, focusing on empowerment, hope, and recovery.
  • Liaise with customers, families, and community mental health staff to achieve clinical goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management plans, incorporating the Recovery Framework and underlying principles.
  • Engage with customers, families, and caregivers to develop professional relationships and networks.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with people with alcohol and drug addiction.
  • Knowledge of mental illness, preferably with experience working with complex mental health issues.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Technical literacy with Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
  • Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, AOD, or community-related studies.
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster.
  • Valid NSW Drivers C class licence.
  • First Aid Certificate.
