Community Support Worker - Dubbo

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Worker to join our team in Dubbo. As a Community Support Worker, you will provide psycho-social support services to clients, focusing on client determination, empowerment, hope, and belief in recovery from addiction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive support services to clients, including psycho-social support and case management.
  • Liaising and collaborating with customers, families, and community mental health staff to achieve clinical goals.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships and networks with customers, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.
  • Completing comprehensive risk management plans for customers, with an understanding of the Recovery Framework and underlying principles.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with people with alcohol and drug addiction.
  • Knowledge of mental illness, preferably with experience working with people with complex mental illness.
  • Technical literacy with proven ability to use Microsoft Office and systems for reporting.
  • Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, or AOD, or community-related studies.
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster.
  • Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans.
