**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team in maintaining the highest standards of maintenance and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong trade skills, experience in preventative maintenance painting, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all work requiring the application of relevant trade skills ensuring the highest levels of maintenance to the building fixtures, fittings, and furniture is achieved.
  • Work as a member of the Building Fabric Services team in either a workshop situation or in the field with minimal supervision.
  • Assist the Senior Painter with relevant maintenance services trade staff ensuring all scheduled tasks are completed.
  • Report and record completed tasks and work to the Senior Painter ensuring relevant information is entered in the computerised maintenance system.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety in all areas of operation in compliance with Work Health and Safety policy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A trade qualification relevant to the position.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance painting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a large painting project and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Capacity to provide professional advice and services to clients without favour or prejudice.
