Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydraulic Technician Leader to join our team at Everything Geraldton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of hydraulic/mechanical fitters and staff, ensuring the manufacture, installation, and commissioning of hydraulic mobile equipment and systems are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of hydraulic/mechanical fitters and staff.
  • Oversee the manufacture, installation, and commissioning of hydraulic mobile equipment and systems.
  • Conduct onsite troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer liaison and service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, including gensets, engines, and winches, and manage the ordering of parts.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards and in a safe manner.

Requirements:

  • Trade certificate in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years post-trade experience in a similar role.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and management.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to work with various software systems.
  • Extensive site and workshop-based hydraulic service experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Safe Work Practices.
  • Strong work ethic and proactive approach to problem-solving.
