Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the local delivery of ministry through training, coaching and leading both staff and volunteers in ministry opportunities within a designated geographical area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing SU ministry by establishing new camps and programs, as well as coaching event directors and volunteers. This role involves working collaboratively with churches, schools and volunteers to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow SU ministry in the designated area
  • Provide coaching and training to staff and volunteers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including churches, schools and community groups
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Broad understanding of Christian youth and children's ministry
  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading a team preferably within a not-for-profit environment
  • Demonstrated ability to network, build partnerships and strategic alliances with a broad range of people
  • Tertiary qualifications in youth work, leadership, business or related field
  • Desirable: Experience and involvement in community fundraising and education sector
