A medical professional is sought to join our established clinic in Port Douglas, Queensland. With a strong focus on patient care, we offer a collaborative work environment and opportunities for growth.
Overview of the ClinicWe are a well-established mixed billing clinic located in a scenic shopping center, offering easy parking and onsite pathology services. Our team consists of 8 part-time GPs, all working 4 days per week, supported by a manager, administrative staff, and registered nurses who provide wound care and health assessments.
Our billing model is mixed, with 65% of billings going towards our GPs. We also offer bulk billing for locals with concession cards, children until they leave school, and A&TS people. Discounts on standard fees are provided for locals as well.
The clinic utilizes Med Director and Prac-Soft for efficient practice management, ensuring seamless communication and data sharing among our team members.
About the Position- This full-time position offers 15-minute GP appointments and allows for flexibility in scheduling.
- Clinic ownership is held by 3 practicing GPs, who meet fortnightly to discuss clinic matters and make decisions that benefit our patients and staff.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have General Registration (GR) or Vocational Registration (VR) status. Support is available for those pursuing RACGP or ACRRM pathways. Limited, provisional, or supervision registration will not be accepted.
