About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a cloud expert, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet our high standards for performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable software solutions aligned with project requirements and company standards
  • Optimise existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and technical knowledge sharing
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in the team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (Terraform, NodeJS/Typescript etc)
  • Experience working with complex microservices architecture, high user volume and large-scale distributed systems
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPC etc)
  • Experience with AWS native services (EC2, Lambda, Codebuild, Eventbridge)
  • Domain experience with technology stacks including AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform / Terragrunt and Datadog / Cloudflare
  • Understanding of security best practices and implementation
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, and boast an attitude of getting stuff done
