We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our solutions architecture team, you will be responsible for creating and executing technical strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build focus and broad use of AWS. Your ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

You will be responsible for:

  • Crafting highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
  • Partnering with customers and several AWS teams to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Educating customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community, including authoring or otherwise contributing to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
