About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our technology delivery team at Perth Airport. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis support with various projects aimed at improving our business operations and capabilities.
  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements to align with project goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of PAPL's application landscape.
  • Identify gaps in the current state of PAPL's systems, applications, and IT assets.
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops and design sessions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with project managers to track progress and identify/resolve obstacles.
  • Create comprehensive project artefacts and ensure they comply with the IT Project Management Framework.
  • Manage relationships with project team resources, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions.
  • Skilled in modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong documentation skills, able to produce clear and well-structured project artefacts and reports.
  • Adaptable and versatile, comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to switch between different projects
