Guest Services Attendant Position

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Guest Services Attendant to join our team at The Lane Retreat, a boutique accommodation destination in the Hunter Valley.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be proficient in using technology, and have experience in a reception or front office role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for welcoming guests, preparing arrivals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming guests in person, over the phone, and via email with a professional approach
  • Preparing guest arrivals, welcome cards, and amenities to a high standard
  • Assisting with dinner and wine tasting reservations
  • Processing sales and handling cash and credit card transactions
Requirements:
  • Experience as a receptionist or similar role
  • Knowledge of PMS and end-of-day reconciliation processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and confidence with Microsoft Word and Excel
