About the Role

Totally flexible work arrangements are available to support a dynamic and driven Psychologist/Rehabilitation Counsellor who will be an integral part of assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Early intervention and psychological worksite assessments will be undertaken to develop holistic, client-centered services in workplace rehabilitation.
  • Medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison, as well as case management services, will be expected.
  • Rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counselling will be provided to assist clients in achieving their goals.
  • Vocational assessments will be conducted to identify career paths and opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) is a requirement, as is full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA.
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly desired, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills are necessary.
  • A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done, is expected.
  • Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance, is required.
  • A current driver's license and vehicle are necessary.
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways is expected.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey is necessary.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers is required.
