About the Role

As a Local Area Coordinator with Uniting, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disabilities, their families, and carers to build capacity and exercise choice and control. You will work in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to provide linkage and referrals to community and mainstream services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support people with disabilities, their families, and carers to navigate the NDIS and access services
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support participants to achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with the NDIA and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
