About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team at Ability Plus Disability Services. As a Support Worker for People with Disabilities, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes and within the community.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Providing physical therapy and hydro support
  • Assisting with domestic services and meal preparation
  • Accompanying clients on community outings

About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support, is reliable and flexible, and has an empathetic nature. You will be required to have:
  • A current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • A current Working with Children's Check
  • Related qualifications, such as a Certificate in Disability, Aged Care, or Home and Community Care
  • A current Australian driver's license and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
