About the Role:

At Ability Plus Disability Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a Disability Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and within the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide manual handling support, including hoisting and transferring
  • Assist with physical therapy and hydro support
  • Provide domestic services and meal assistance
  • Accompany clients on community outings

About You:

We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support. You will have a strong empathetic nature and a desire to engage with people. You will also have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Current National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Employer)
  • Related qualifications, such as a Certificate in Disability, Aged Care, or Home and Community Care
  • Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
